Roof top bar was enjoyable with good food and drinks. Great location--close to everything we needed. Super friendly, helpful staff. I needed to print a document and the business center did not have a printer. The bed and pillows weren't very comfortable. And there weren't that many amenities. The room was really quite loud. The air conditioner would kick on and wake me up several times a night. We were also close to the elevator which I know is unavoidable and could hear word for word the conversations in the hallway.
This made for a rough night's sleep. Rudeness of certain hotel staff, pillows were way too soft. The corner lounge was strange in terms of food offerings, everyone shows up for breakfast expecting to find dry cereal, bananas or a pop tart. Get rid of the candy and party mix and offer a minimal continental breakfast. Price to keep the car over night was expensive. The bathroom was poorly separated from the bedroom. With a gap above the hanging door to the bathroom area and a much bigger gap above the glass door that made up the toilet room, it was almost like we were in there together.

One of the best hotels in Chicago. Ideal location to everything in the city, wonderful staff and service, Roof Top Bar is excellent. Overall best hotel experience I've had in Chicago. The decor and rooms very nice, and the proximity to restaurants and entertainment was perfect. The rooftop bar was a desirable place to be. Extremely convenient for getting to the Chicago Theatre. Great location to everything in the city! You can walk to the Riverwalk which has so many things to do! Nice hotel, great location. Free waters weren't offered for Hilton honors members like other Hilton brand hotels.
The only free waters were 2 11oz bottles in the room, which is not what I've come to expect when staying in Hilton hotels. This is a perk I love because I drink a lot of water. Also, there is no incentive for hotel guests to go to the rooftop bar. The cost for admittance is the same no matter what, and you would think they would want their guests to spend more time at their hotel. The wit hotel is definitely a great spot.
My husband and I went on a very cold winter day. We would stay ther again. Doors locks dont work. The bed was very uncomfortable! Had a huge dip in the middle of the mattress! Other than that no complaints. The fridge didn't work so the brought up a dented scratched fridge and set it in the middle of the room. The room was not clean. The Westin Chicago River North. Located in the heart of Chicago's theater district just steps from the Magnificent Mile and Millennium Park, we offer easy access to the many allures of the Second City-from world-class restaurants to museums, art galleries and upscale boutiques.
Chicago's status as a destination for food and business is mirrored inside our hotel, where you'll find 30, square feet of meeting space-including an outdoor venue and two ballrooms-as well as our legendary Kamehachi Sushi Bar, a local favorite. The hotel was clean and very nice. All staff I encountered were very nice. The best part in my book was the location. It smelled nice they push their "signature scent" out in the lobby which is fresh and pleasant. There's also a restaurant right outside the lower level doors take the two escalators down that's right on the river.
You're within walking distance of Michigan Avenue if you like to walk or you could always take a cab to that area if walking too much isn't appealing. The location really can't be beat. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and professional.
Easy check in and check out. I would stay here again! The chase lounge chair next to the window. I enjoyed the view of the city and the river. I liked watching the tour boats coming and going. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and the room was quiet. I felt that the staff were courteous and helpful. If you're staying here Would definitely stay again. They need to add some attractive lighting chandeliers, lamps so it feels more cheerful. I understand that this used to be a Niko Hotel and was done in the Japanese style which is still evident.
If they're not going to add lighting, then adding some fountains for pleasant ambient noise would be good. I know there's a sidewalk out there that they likely wanted to "protect" the hotel from, but their present set-up misses the view of the river and downtown. They did not have my Kayak reservation. They did honor the reservation however; it was done with attitude " how di d you get this rate for this weekend? I realize this is in Chicago, but I still feel like I have paid less to have the same experience in other locations.

Requested for a late check in due to our flight and they automatically had a late checkout for us. Housekeeping was very attentive and room was fresh and clean each day.
The hotel was in a great location, it was close to a variety of restaurants and activities. Also there is access to the red line subway directly in front of the Hotel. It was a clean and stocked with complementary coffee! We also had great help from Reggie with our luggage. He was friendly and made everyone laugh. Alma at the check in desk was also very helpful.
Valet parking was very expensive for the weekend. We could've chose self parking which was around the block but did not know that until we arrived. We chose the valet parking because we were exhausted from the drive into the city. You have to really look for the hotel driveway to pull in off of the street in unfortunately we arrived on a Friday evening and it took us three or four times driving around the block in bumper-to-bumper traffic to get in.
It was a great hotel, great rooms, very clean, and a pretty nice view of downtown Chicago. All of the staff was amazing and any question we had was answered. If you drive there are tons of parking garages right in the area that are in walking distance. We decided to walk everywhere since it was all right there. We loved our stay and will stay at the Hilton again. The staff was so friendly and I enjoyed the free coffee service in the mornings.
I also took advantage of printing out my boarding pass with their easy airline check in computer in the lobby. Loved that Weber Grill is downstairs! The beds were nice and the rooms were very clean. The staff was okay, very effective. I liked the showers and fluffy towels. There was a few hairs under pillow and in the bathroom upon arrival. Overall everything was great except for our first encounter with a lady at check-in. We were trying to describe an issue we were having about our luggage.
Our flight lost three of our bags and would be delivering it to the hotel. We were brushed off and felt as if our issue wasn't important enough to be listened to. Alma was able to step in and help. Although staff was polite they didn't seem to genuine. The window in my room was missing the safety piece that prevents it from opening all the. A 21 story fall may have adverse consequences to the curious child.
For me it wasn't a huge deal, I don't have a kid that's going to fall out a window, but it does show a lack of attention to detail. I also noticed the exterior of the building wasn't as clean as other hotels. Catch a rising star in the nearby Theatre District, walk to award-winning dining or watch the sunset from the Willis Tower before retiring to your guest room featuring breathtaking views of Chicago.
The hotel offers 15 meeting rooms with 25, sq. Named a Top Workplace in Chicago by The Chicago Tribune since , we invite you to experience the legendary service of our exceptional staff. I did like the room, it was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The location is good, slightly away from the bustle of Michigan Avenue, but not too far. Everything is within walking distance and in a nice area. We really liked the location of this hotel.
Was an easy walk to area attractions. Hotel has a nice corner resturant with great views. Paid for standard room and was told that's a sleeper couch in a room that is really the living room for a suite. Room also smelled like cat urine, couldn't stay there, booked a room at Hotel Intercontinental on Michigan Ave and was treated to a nice room and free breakfast. He was very rude overall. It would have been great to have a mini refrigerator in the room and the room temperature was a bit colder than my comfort level. We thought the hotel room its self wasnt as clean as it should be.
We had stained bath towels and no wash clothes upon arrival. We stayed two nights and even after the second day when coming back into the room we again had stained bath towels. We also thought the room was no as quiet as we wohld expect as we could hear everything going on on the room next to us and across the hall.
We are surrounded by a slew of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The hotel is easily accessible to I and Lake Shore Drive, and surrounded by all forms of public transportation to take you anywhere at anytime. The location being exactly halfway between the business area Loop and entertainment area of the city is an excellent choice to have it all, while you visit the City of Chicago.
Take a free trolley ride, located steps away from our hotel, to Navy Pier, where you can shop, take in the glorious views of Lake Michigan and opt for many of the Cruises that are available there. Millennium Park is the newest attraction in the City of Chicago. All Reviews Families Couples. Everything about the stay was great. The room was clean, the hotel's location is convenient and there's a train station a couple of blocks away. Check-in was less than two minutes. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. I guess the pool could be a bit longer, like for lap swimmers. The complementary breakfast was a no for me. The scrambled eggs were just so awful. The fruit salad was okay but the quality of breakfast really needs some work. One step through our welcoming doors will transport you back in time to an era of elegant hobnobbing and comfortable luxury. Very nice lounging area to do work, talk. Complimentary evening prosecco also very nice. Very nice bathroom amenities.
Perfect for theater weekend. Great location, beautiful room. Great hotel, great service, great room. Couldn't have been happier with the Hotel Allegro. Wish the bathtubs were a tad bigger! I can't say enough about the convenience of having the hotel next door. Walked down the sidewalk and into the hotel, was able to avoid the cold Chicago weather. Staff was very friendly Sense of style The remodeled lobby was very crowded at check-in The room was perfectly sized and extremely comfortable. This review is not a negative review of the hotel.
Rather it is a result of a horrible experience with kayak and their vendors. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was told at the front desk my reservation did not exist. After showing them several emails from kayaks vendors, they told me those confirmation numbers did not exist if that was the fifth person with the same issue booking through kayak that day.
After several hours on the phone with no successful resolution with kayaks vendors, my partner was finally able to secure a room for us at another hotel. We are still trying to resolve this issue with. I will not be booking through kayak again. The room is much smaller than it seems in the photos. Walls are super thin which makes privacy very difficult.
Expect to hear your neighbors. The booking site Amoma. If you have a choice, I would recommend booking with another agency for this location. We stayed in Room Our view out of the 2 windows, the first was a brick wall, the second, an alley way. At about 2am, for some reason the windows decided they wanted to bang against the frame endlessly, not allowing neither my wife or I to sleep. The bed was definately not a King Bed, and for it being a Premier Room, I would have expected the bathroom to be bigger than the size of a closet.
I can't say I wouldn't stay here again, but would want to see the room before check-in. Paper thin walls Poor internet Small bathroom even for small people SLOW and small elevators Couldn't get receipt at checkout printer not working, system didn't allow for email All in all, it was a stressful stay. Rooms were incredibly tiny. Elevators did not work. The receptionist messed up my receipt.
I used my company's card to stay and I am the only person who stay in the hotel. And when checking out,I just asked for the receipt but didn't check it. The most annoying thing is that when I checked out using the compan card,I asked them if it is ok to pay with a card not under my name.

All in all, this experiment almost cost me to not be able to reinburse my stay. They r obviously not professional and it gives me a really bad memory here! Featured amenities include a hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Clean rooms, great location, and caring staff.
The hotels staff was incredibly nice. The hotel itself was extremely clean. The location was perfect. It was close to everything touristic. Free bottles of water!! The whole process was flawless! I liked how friendly the staff are. The outside view from the room. Great location, gym and also includes free laundry facilities!!

Comfortable and clean rooms Great service Close to everything Easy to get from Airpot as the Blue line is just a block away. I enjoyed the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the front desk check in staff. I did not check out the amenities.
A nice perk was the chilled water bottle filling stations with complimentary water bottles available. Even fruit would have been a nice touch. I will never be staying here again no matter how busy the city is or how expensive another place is. Both times I waited for more than an hour when the entire purpose of the valet is to save time. Half of the staff was excellent and the other half was rued. I did not like how dusty the room was around the bed.

There should be a refrigerator in the room, maybe rooms n bathroom should be bigger n provide drinking water as part of service. The rooms are incredibly dry! My face, hands, mouth and most of my skin felt coarse and extremely dry all evening and night in the hotel. I was disappointed in both their communication and state of the room. Furthermore, there was the tiniest window with a speck of natural light let in. I understand city hotel room have limited views but I have never been in a room so dark with such a small window.

I will not be returning to The Central Loop Hotel for these reasons. Club Quarters Hotel, Central Loop. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Location was great for walking or using mass transit to see many of the sights of the city and be close to the train station.
Bed was very comfortable. Refrigerator, microwave, and even dishes to use in the microwave were in the "kitchenette". The location is absolutely perfect if you're visiting Chicago from out of town. However, the rooms are small and basic so if you're not planning on staying in the room that much it's perfect. Free filtered bottles of water! Very centrally located to theaters and to the Blue line train to O'Hare airport was very convenient.
Easy walk to rent bikes and quiet for sleeping. My wife and I have always stayed north of the river but chose this one to stay in a different part of the city but be close to everything. We loved the location to CTA stops because used that to get around the city. We loved the location's proximity to basically anything that we needed.
The staff was very informative and friendly. My wife enjoyed the chilled water bottle stations on each floor. They not only used up 1 hour of my time on the phone, they also transferred 7 times, back and forth like a ping pong ball between the sales team and I do not know who else. Again, the call was one hour long and no one could tell me where I can type in my coupon code on your website when I'm making a flight purchase. One of the reps Tarron? I politely asked to be transferred to a manager and he said no everytime despite my repeated requests.
I didn't what to get him into trouble, but I couldn't hear him because of his accent. After an hour later, I still have no idea where I can type in my coupon code. I tried so hard to find out, so please redeem my coupon for me: However, if you are trying to use a promotion code, you should search for a hotel as you would normally.
On the left side of the results page after you searched, under the dates, there should be a link that says, "enter promotion code" - it's rather out-of-the-way and easy to miss. I don't know if this will prove to be a good deal totally depends on their regular rate vs. I wouldn't recommend walking to the aquarium we did - it was cold!!!!!
